MABEL is a special little dog.  We call her our "junk-yard" dog.  Before Mabel was taken in she'd obviously had a rough time.   She was skinny, dirty, had parasites and heartworms.  She's deaf in her left ear and it doesn't move at all, from what appears to have been a blow to her head just above the ear, or possibly a dog bite that went untreated.  Which ever it was, she was left scarred and deaf in that ear.  Her right ear stands straight up which makes her incredibly cute!  Mabel has the sweetest disposition and personality you've ever seen.  She is very quiet and unassuming.  She handles very well on a leash, sits, and is patient.  She loves to be petted but is not demanding.
